Most of what appears on your profile is public by design. Your handle, display name, avatar, bio, ranks, hours, trophies, clips, and the game accounts you link are visible to anyone who opens your profile URL, and search engines can index them.
We reserve the right to sell, license, or otherwise share personal information with third parties, including advertisers, analytics providers, game publishers, esports organisations, recruiters, and data partners. What we may sell or share includes your public profile content, your ranks and play history, usage data (whether aggregated, de-identified, or tied to you), and identifiers such as your handle, device identifiers, and cookie identifiers. Under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act this activity can count as “selling” or “sharing” personal information, and we treat it as such rather than relying on a narrower reading.
We do not sell your password or your email address, and we do not sell or share the personal information of anyone we know to be under 16.
You can opt out at any time. Email hello@aceverse.gg from the address on your account with the subject “Do Not Sell or Share”, and we'll apply it within 15 business days and keep it applied. Opting out does not hide your public profile, which stays visible for as long as your account is open, and it does not affect the third-party sources listed below that we read from to build your profile.
Where the law requires your consent before we can sell or share (for example in the EU and the UK, and for users under 16 anywhere), we will ask for it first and will not sell or share your information unless you agree.
Aceverse is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. EU users must be 16 (or the minimum age of digital consent in their member state). If you believe a child has provided us information, email hello@aceverse.gg and we'll delete the account.
To populate your profile we make requests to the public APIs of: IGDB, Steam, Riot (via HenrikDev), OpenDota, Leetify, tracker.gg, op.gg/u.gg/wol.gg, overfast-api, apexlegendsapi, Supercell (via RoyaleAPI proxy), Bungie, Blizzard, and fortnitetracker. Each upstream sees a request from our server, not from you.
User accounts and profiles live in Upstash Redis (Frankfurt or Sydney region, depending on deploy). Operational logs are hosted by Vercel.
You can edit your profile from aceverse.gg/<your-handle>at any time. To export or delete everything we hold about you, email hello@aceverse.gg with the email on your account; we'll respond within 30 days. EU/UK users have GDPR rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and to object. California residents have the right to know what we collect and who we disclose it to, to delete it, to correct it, and to opt out of its sale or sharing as described above. We will not deny you the service, charge you a different price, or give you a lower quality of service because you exercised any of these rights.
We use a single first-party session cookie (aceverse_session) to keep you logged in. No analytics or advertising cookies.
