Terms of Service

1. What Aceverse is

Aceverse is a personal gaming profile aggregator. We pull publicly available statistics (ranks, hours, recent matches) from third-party gaming services and display them on a profile you control at aceverse.gg/<your-handle>.

2. Who can use Aceverse

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you are under 13, please do not register. If we discover an account belonging to someone under 13 we will delete it. EU users must be at least 16, or the minimum age of digital consent in their member state.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything that happens under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@aceverse.gg if you suspect unauthorised use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, harass other users, or attempt to abuse the service (e.g. bypassing rate limits).

4. Third-party data

Aceverse displays data fetched from third-party sources, including but not limited to: IGDB (game metadata and cover art), Steam Web API, Riot/HenrikDev, OpenDota, Leetify, tracker.gg, op.gg, overfast-api, apexlegendsapi, Supercell, Bungie, Blizzard, and fortnitetracker. We don't guarantee the accuracy, freshness, or availability of any third-party data. Each upstream is subject to its own terms.

Game data is provided in part by IGDB.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of anything you write on your profile (bio, manifesto, achievements, take on each game). By posting it you grant Aceverse a non-exclusive licence to display it publicly at your profile URL.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• impersonate another player or claim a handle that isn't yours;
• upload content that is illegal, hateful, threatening, sexually explicit, or infringes anyone else's rights;
• attempt to bypass rate limits, scrape the site, or interfere with infrastructure;
• use Aceverse to commit fraud (e.g. fake credentials for esports recruitment).

7. No warranty

Aceverse is provided as-is. We make no warranty that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any specific game source will keep working — many upstream APIs are unofficial and break without notice.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aceverse and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to AUD $100.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms over time. If we make material changes we'll surface a notice on the site before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
